Andrew Carson is a visual artist based in Dublin. Carson's work looks at how we interact through language focusing on the impact digital environments and text-based communications have on social patterns and our perceptions of reality. Carson draws influence from Eastern spiritual and philosophical thought, Structural and post-structural linguistic theories, folk and pop music, and 1960's psychedelic culture. These ideas are explored through installations incorporating sound, visual media, print and moving image.
